Terms and Conditions
The Terms and Conditions below set out the rules for use of Stake. They form a binding agreement between the user and Medium Rare N.V., the operator of the website. Each visitor must read all parts carefully, as the rules apply from the moment an account is created or the site is used in any way. The goal of this document is to explain how the service works, which responsibilities each side holds, and under which conditions accounts, deposits, withdrawals, and games operate.
Operator Information
Stake operates under Medium Rare N.V., a company registered in Curaçao with its head office at Seru Loraweg 17, B. Medium Rare N.V. holds a license OGL/2024/1451/0918 issued by the Curaçao Gaming Authority. Some payment processing may pass through the company’s fully owned subsidiaries: Medium Rare Limited, with a registered address in Nicosia, Cyprus, and MRS Tech Ltd, with a registered address in Larnaca, Cyprus.
The contractual relationship between the user and Medium Rare N.V. starts once registration is complete and the account is created. The Terms may appear in several languages for convenience, but only the English version serves as the legal basis. If any difference appears between translations, the English text prevails.
Account Establishment and Rules
This section covers how a Stake account is created, which information is required, how verification works, and in which situations an account can be suspended or closed. The rules here also define the user’s duty to protect login data and to avoid multiple accounts.
Registration
An account is required for participation on Stake. During registration, the user must provide accurate and complete personal details, including full name, date of birth, address, and email. Missing or false data can lead to suspension of the account and may cause deposits or winnings to be treated as invalid. Any user who faces issues with account status should contact support by email.
Only individuals who have reached the legal age of majority in their jurisdiction may register. For many regions, this means 18 years or older, but local law may require a higher age. Each user must confirm that gambling online is legal where they live and where they access the site.
Stake may refuse registration at its discretion. Persons from prohibited jurisdictions, underage persons, or users who provide misleading information cannot hold an active account.
Know Your Customer (KYC)
Stake may request identity and location documents at any stage. That may include photo identification, proof of address, payment method confirmation, or other documents. Access to deposits, withdrawals, or certain products may stay restricted until verification is complete. Stake may release user information when laws, regulations, or court orders require it. By using the site, the user accepts that such disclosures may occur when necessary.
Multiple Accounts
Only one account per individual is allowed. Any attempt to create more than one account, under the same identity or under different details, can lead to closure of all linked accounts and retention of funds. Use of another person’s account also violates these Terms. A user who discovers more than one active account must contact Stake without delay.
User Responsibility
Each user must keep login details safe and private. Disclosure of credentials, intentional or accidental, may lead to loss of funds, and Stake bears no responsibility for those losses. Transfers of accounts, sale of accounts, or use of accounts on behalf of another person are not permitted.
Errors in account balance, transaction records, or bet settlement must be reported to Stake as soon as the user notices them. The user is responsible for every action carried out under the account until Stake is informed of such issues.
Security Tools
Stake recommends activation of two-factor authentication and other security features that appear in the account settings. These tools give an extra layer of protection and reduce the risk of unauthorized access by third parties.
Suspension or Closure
Stake may suspend or close an account in several situations. These include suspected fraud, collusion, use of illegal funds, attempts to gain unfair advantage, provision of false information, failure to complete verification, or serious concerns about problem gambling. Stake may also suspend or close an account following instructions from regulators or law enforcement. In such cases, funds may be retained, and bets may be voided where the law permits.
Deposits and Withdrawals
Here we outline basic rules for deposits, withdrawal conditions, and the treatment of fiat and cryptocurrency transactions.
Deposits
Deposits may be made through payment methods displayed in the wallet or cashier sections on the site. All funds must originate from accounts owned by the user. Stake may specify minimum deposit limits that can change from time to time and may differ between methods.
Payment providers may apply fees or currency conversion charges. Stake holds no control over such costs. If Stake suspects that deposits occur without a genuine interest in wagering, or that funds may come from questionable sources, the operator may suspend the account and inform relevant authorities.
Withdrawals
Withdrawals can only proceed once certain conditions are met. These include identity confirmation, checks on the payment method, and compliance with wagering requirements for each deposit. Withdrawals may only be directed to payment instruments owned by the same user who holds the Stake account.
Under some circumstances, Stake may divide a withdrawal across different methods that were used for deposits. When an incorrect credit occurs due to human or technical error, Stake retains the right to reverse the transaction. If the user has already withdrawn incorrect funds, the amount becomes a debt owed to Stake and must be repaid.
Fiat and Crypto Rules
Fiat and crypto withdrawals require full wagering of the deposit amount. Crypto withdrawals are sent to the wallet address specified in the withdrawal request. Stake may perform additional checks before any withdrawal, especially under anti-money laundering rules. Suspicious patterns may result in account blocking, reporting to authorities, and retention of funds when the law allows it. Funds already used in games are not subject to refund or reversal.
Intellectual Property, Disputes, and Legal Provisions
The ownership of software and content on Stake, the process for complaints and disputes, and the basic legal framework of the agreement are explained here.
Intellectual Property Rights
All software, code, graphics, layout, text, audio, video, trademarks, and other elements of the website belong to Stake or its licensors. Users may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, distribute, or use any part of the site in ways that conflict with copyright or other intellectual property laws. Any unauthorized use can lead to legal action and termination of account access.
The name “Stake”, related domain names, and service marks remain the exclusive property of the operator. Use of these elements without prior written consent is not permitted.
Disputes and Complaints
Users who wish to submit a complaint should first contact Stake through [email protected] or the live chat. Stake aims to address issues in a fair and timely way. If disputes remain unresolved, the user may seek remedies in the jurisdiction defined under the governing law clause.
Amendments and Governing Law
Stake may update or modify these Terms at any time. The updated version takes effect once it appears on the website. Continued use of the service means acceptance of the new version.
The agreement follows the laws of Curaçao. Courts in Curaçao have primary jurisdiction over disputes connected to these Terms, although Stake may start proceedings in other competent courts where the law permits.
Miscellaneous Provisions
If a part of the agreement turns out to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest remains in force. Stake may assign or transfer rights and obligations under the agreement without prior notice. The user may not transfer rights or obligations to another person. The Terms form the full agreement between Stake and the user and replace any earlier arrangements or understandings.
Complaints
Users who have complaints about Stake’s services may contact customer support via live chat or by email at [email protected]. Stake strives to review each case carefully and respond as quickly as circumstances allow. If a user remains unhappy with the outcome, further steps may follow under the governing law and dispute procedures described above.
